Enlarging flexibility region of virtual power plant via dynamic line rating

چکیده
The virtual power plant (VPP) can aggregate small-scale distributed resources to provide flexibility for the transmission system. provision capability of VPP is restricted by technical operating limits distribution system which are connected. To facilitate while securing operation local system, this paper leverages dynamic line rating (DLR) enlarge region. region defined as allowable range active and reactive output that execute subject constraints internal With DLR, current carrying capacity network dynamically adjusted based on actual environmental conditions, helps remove barriers from hinder integration flexibility. A convex hull-based method with an explicit accuracy guarantee proposed approximate DLR. Case studies IEEE-33 IEEE-123 test feeders real-world data validate framework.
